Scandinavian Minimalism in an 80m² Apartment – Simple, Bright, and Functional
When working on this 80m² apartment, we wanted to capture the essence of Scandinavian minimalism: simplicity, light, and functionality. The design is clean and understated, with an emphasis on comfort and practicality rather than luxury.
The living room combines soft neutral tones with natural light streaming in through wide windows. White walls and simple paneling create a calm backdrop, while wooden floors bring warmth and a touch of nature indoors. The open dining area is compact but elegant, with a round wooden table and white chairs that fit perfectly into the minimal aesthetic.
We used simple finishing materials – clean tiles, laminate, and painted surfaces – to keep the design accessible and timeless. The furniture is functional and carefully chosen to maintain an uncluttered look. The sofa, dining set, and TV unit follow the same neutral palette, emphasizing the Scandinavian principle of harmony and balance.
This project proves that interior design doesn’t need expensive finishes to feel stylish and comfortable. With the right planning, even a modest renovation can result in a home that feels modern, airy, and perfectly suited to everyday living.
